ISAlw16 is 95% aa (transposase)similar to ISAba49.
ISAlw16 has at least four slightly different copies in A. lwoffii M2a. The strain also contains several further IS copies that are related to ISAlw16, but are closer to ISAba46 or ISAba25. The prototype of ISAlw16 was defined according to the copy located on plasmid pAVAci127 of M2a.
