ISKrh7 is 85% aa similar to ISKrh5.
ISKr7 was found in the chromosome of the laboratory contaminant Kocuria rhizophila Noodlococcus. ISKhr7 is inside a 1,357 bp sequence that is bounded by 28 bp imperfect inverted repeats and appears to be an incomplete IS3 family element.
Two copies of ISKrh7 are present in the chromosome of K. indicus CE7, which was isolated from human skin. The copies in CE7 are identical to one another but differ from the copy in Noodlococcus by one SNP. One ISKrh7 in CE7 is flanked by the same sequence as the ISKrh7 in Noodlococcus.
