Riemerella anatipestifer is the causative agent of polyserositis of ducks and geese. ISRa1 was present with 2-20 copies in various Riemerella anatipestifer strains.
ISRa1 is 45%aa homologous with IS1187.
Four copies of ISRa1 sequenced were identical at both ends.
